Performing CPR on Your Pet: A Life-Saving Guide

Assess the Situation

Check if your pet is responsive, breathing, and has a pulse. Tap and shout gently to stimulate response. 

Call For Help

Immediately call your vet or emergency pet services for guidance and assistance during this critical time. 

Rescue Breaths Instructions

Close your pet's mouth and breathe into their nose. Aim for a visible rise in their chest. Give two breaths every 30 chest compressions.

Emergency Transport

If possible, carefully transport your pet to the nearest veterinary facility while continuing CPR. If able, perform CPR in transit.
